OBC Standard v3

OBC v3 separates what was anchored from where it is stored, makes the off-chain document type-aware and links every version of a document on-chain.

  • Files are named {h}.json. Storage bases are listed in a location account derived from the publisher wallet, so a storage move is one transaction.
  • The off-chain document is an envelope (type, schema, links, data). Journals use obc.journal/2.
  • The memo carries d, n and p, so corrections and voids (tombstones) are visible on-chain. A per-document lookup key k lists every version with one call.
  • Records are published with the p-memo program; records from SPL Memo are accepted too.
  • The verifier reports who signed the record.
  • Accounting periods are closed with obc.acc-period-close/1 records that list every member with a count and Merkle root. The period audit checks a publisher's periods are complete.
